This year Easter falls on April 5 and there are tons of fun events coming up for the whole family, and even the dog! I've found seven great events around the city happening this weekend and next the whole family to take part in, from the Marina to South SF.
Saturday, March 28
Haight Street Mamas Bunny Hop
Where: Golden Gate Park, Dahlia Dell
When: 10 am to 1 pm
Price: $10 per family—RSVP online and pay on site
What: Mimosas, coffee and pastries for the grownups, and childrens' snacks from Fresh Baby Bites, music from the crew at Music for Aardvarks, and a candy-less Egg Hunt!
South San Francisco Easter Egg Hunt
Where: Orange Memorial Park Picnic Shelters, South San Francisco (Editor's note: Orange Memorial is a fantastic park in South San Francisco with tons of kids programs-its worth getting to know wherever you live in SF!)
When: 9am-11am
Price: Free, refreshments available for sale
What: Meet the Easter Bunny from 9-10:30am, and take part in one of two Easter egg hunts at the same time for ages 3-5 and 6-8, starting at 10am sharp!
Wag Hotels' Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs
Where: Golden Gate Park, Speedway Meadow
When: 12pm until...
Price: $15 per adult, $20 at the event. Register online via Eventbrite. Kids are free
What: This year's Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs supports Muttville Senior Dog Rescue! Registration includes finger foods from local vendors for humans and pets, along with a dog-friendly egg hunt and photo opps with the Easter bunny.

Eggstravaganza

What: egg hunts, carnival rides, games, live entertainment, kids activities and a barbecue competition between Rec and Park, SF Police and SF Fire.

What: The second annual Franklin Square Park Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10am, with kids activities and performers after. Refreshments are provided!
Sunday, April 5
St Cyprian Jazz Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt
Where: St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church

When: 10:10 AM to 11:30 AM
Price: Free, register here to RSVP
What: St. Cyprian's will celebrate Easter with jazz service, followed by brunch and an Easter egg hunt for children. Childcare is provided for most of the service.
Union Street Easter Parade & Celebration
Where: Union Street, from Gough to Fillmore
