We discovered Joseph P. Lee Rec. Center and its cute little playground in Bayview totally by accident while attending an event across the street. We'd just finished a pony ride (in the city, yes!) and needed a bathroom break—the rec center was the perfect place for us to refresh and the playground was a treat for my tiny companion.
This playground is in the heart of the Bayview district so its the perfect place to stretch the kid's legs before dinner, and every time we've gone by the space is full of kids and families. The play equipment is updated and feels geared toward smaller tots, which is fine because there are tons of activities for older kids inside, from video games to craft classes.
